Understanding Your Dashboard

What each KPI card, chart, and section on your dashboard means and how to read it.

The 5 KPI Cards (top row)
Your dashboard opens with 5 summary cards: • Net Worth — total assets minus total liabilities • Fitness Score — your overall financial health (0–100) • FIRE Progress — percentage of retirement corpus already accumulated • Emergency Runway — how many months your emergency fund covers • Monthly Surplus — income minus expenses and EMIs
Green values indicate healthy status. Amber means attention needed. Red means this area needs action.

Portfolio Growth Chart
This line chart projects how your current investments will grow over time, assuming your current monthly contributions and expected return rates. The shaded area shows the growth range. Hover over any year to see the projected value.

Asset Allocation Donut
Shows the percentage split of your current investments across equity, debt, gold, and real estate. Compare this with the 'Recommended' allocation for your risk profile to see if you need to rebalance.

Goal Timeline
Displays all your financial goals arranged by target year. Each bar shows how funded a goal currently is. A full green bar means the goal is on track. A shorter bar means you need to increase your SIP.

Insurance Gap Analysis
Compares your current insurance coverage against two recommended benchmarks: • Term Life: 10× your annual income (Human Life Value benchmark) • Health: ₹10 lakh base + ₹5 lakh per dependent If a coverage bar is below 100%, your family is under-insured in that area. The card shows the exact gap amount so you know how much additional cover to buy. If you entered a Next Premium Due date for any policy, a 'Premium due soon' alert (with a pulsing bell icon) appears when the renewal is within 60 days — so no policy ever lapses by accident.

AI Financial Simulator (bottom)
The AI Simulator lets you ask 'what-if' questions in plain language. For example: 'What happens if I take a ₹50L home loan?' or 'If I get a 20% salary hike, how does it change my FIRE age?' See the AI Simulator guide for full details.
